The Post and Courier has posted a piece warning drivers this holiday weekend that the S.C. Highway Patrol will be out in full force in hopes of closing out the 100 Deadly Days of Summer with a record-low number of fatalities.
Drivers aren't the only ones who need to remember to play it safe over the Labor Day weekend. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will be patrolling the waters as part of the Sober or Slammer! Labor Day enforcement blitz.
Today and Monday will be the most heavily patrolled days, so heads up out there.
