The Post and Courier reports that more than $68,000 was stolen from a locked safe inside the Charleston Visitors Bureau in downtown Charleston.
The thief struck some time between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7th. It sounds like this could be an inside job as Charleston Police report that only employees are allowed in the area where the safe is located.
Hop on over to The Post and Courier for the details.
